By April
April’s café snoozes by a lake.
People can soak in the view while sipping on a strawberry shake,
The same color as the blossom tree standing guard around the shop.
It’s breathtaking to see from the rooftop.
It looks like the world has been drizzled in pink frosting,
And it looks like the puff chested frogs are boasting.
You can also smell the sickly sweet perfume of cherry blossoms embrace the rich smell of earth,
And enjoy the waft of apple pie and hot cocoa as it adventures from the café hearth.
Koi fish also huddle over to the lakeview windows,
Ready to be your bros,
If you slip them a bite of french toast.
(Those graceful fishies are what tourists seem to love the most.)
If you want a better look at them,
Our place’s 100%-glass-walled-basement will be your gem.
Another gem is the live string quartet that hums underneath the café’s clatter.
(The violist is quite the chatter.)
They take song requests,
And they will not hesitate to rickroll everybody during the shop’s mini-fests.
Also, the place’s lighting is dim even at night,
So the waltzing fireflies and sleeping stars are your main light.
Using technology inside is also against the café’s code.
The staff prefer people’s in-the-moment-mode.
But don’t worry, the place has an endless amount of games to make up for everyone’s phone and
laptop,
But if that’s not your bop,
We have millions of art supplies for sketching and doodling.
Sometimes the staff will even hang up talented artists’ bling.
As you can see,
April’s café is quite a fun place to be,
So next time you’re free,
Stop by.
Just drive down Imagination Highway,
And let April’s café make your day 😉
